Ben Rooks, Founder and Principal
Prior to founding ST Advisors in 2009, Ben spent six years as an investment banker where he closed over 25 healthcare and medical technology transactions valued from $40-365 million. During that time, company CEOs regularly complemented him on his depth of knowledge and strategic perspective on the sector. Previously he spent close to a decade as a sell-side equity research analyst where he covered over 25 healthcare information stocks in addition to e-health, drug information and pharmacy benefit management. He has been a judge for the MS-HUG Industry Solutions Awards since its inception, was a Zacks All-Star Analyst and serves on the editorial board of Healthcare Informatics. Michelle Mattson-Hamilton, Senior Associate
Michelle joined ST Advisors in late 2010 from the telecommunications industry where she spent the previous three years working in corporate strategy. Michelle brings to ST additional expertise in strategic and critical thinking, competitive and market analysis, deep quantitative analysis, as well as financial and business modeling. Michelle earned her MBA and B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington.
